The Friends of the Foundation are a community of supporters who share and help advance the Foundation’s mission through financial contributions, particularly valuable forms of collaboration, or the donation of tangible and intangible assets.

This network of individuals, organisations, associations, and public and private institutions not only provides financial support for the growth of the Foundation’s assets, but also plays an active role in its democratic life through the annual Assembly. The Assembly is a consultative body that expresses opinions on the Foundation’s activities and may elect two members of the Board of Directors.

The relationship with the Friends of the Foundation reflects the importance of civic participation and collective support in pursuing Alexander Langer’s ideals. It creates a wider community that extends beyond the Foundation’s institutional structures and brings together all those who believe in the values of dialogue, peace, and ecological conversion.
