With this annual prize, the Foundation intends to honor and keep alive the memory of Alexander Langer, presenting to public opinion the work of people, even unknown ones, who through courageous choices, independence of thought, and strong social roots are capable of illuminating emblematic situations and innovative paths for pursuing the objectives indicated in Article 2 of the Statute and in the regulations. The prize endowment of 10,000 Euros is currently made available by the Savings Bank Foundation of Bolzano.
